She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Neel and Irene Vittitow Neel; her husband William "Bill" James Jr.; and her son-in-law Robert Berrong. She is survived by: her children, Mary James-Todd (Chris), Bill James (Debbie) and Denise James-Berrong; her grandchildren, Caiden James (Tay), Seth Todd (Logan), Evan Todd (Matthew), Darcy Ward (Drew), Will James (Lauren), Wes James and Noah Todd; her great grandchildren, Ryan and Remi; and her brother Richard Neel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Martin Catholic Church (5856 KY-81, Owensboro, KY 42301). A Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Rosehill Cemetery (1300 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303).
