She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester H. Shelton and Daisy Gatewood Shelton; her husband Sherman Allen Wilson; her brother Jerry Shelton; and her siblings-in-law, Charles Carman and Brenda Carman Morris.

She is survived by: her children, Kerry Wilson (Sheila), Dennis Wilson (Paula), Cyndi Wickerham (Bill) and Kim Bruner; her grandchildren, Christopher Wilson, Elizabeth Warnock, Matt, Melissa, Myron, Mayerly, Paola Wilson, Coulter, Tyler Wickerham, Madelynne Tramill, Morgan Hayden and Moriah Wilhoite; her sisters, Carolyn Maddox (Jerry) and Judith Reeves (Charles); and her sister-in-law Judy Shelton. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
