She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Carroll and Leona Carroll; and her husband John Thomas "J. T." Ezell. She is survived by: her children, John Thomas Ezell III (Lana) and Susan Carroll Ezell Newman (Mark); her grandchildren, Jennifer Brook Ezell Jimenez (Mike), Sarah Catherine Newman, John "Jack" Franklin Newman III (Katherine), Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Newman and Michaela Leona Ezell (Brishon); and her great grandchildren, Molly Grace Jimenez and Lucy Elizabeth Jimenez.
