It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice B. Gafford of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Seattle, Washington, who passed away on April 24, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Adams and Marjorie McDaniel Adams; her husband Barney Gafford; her sons, Mark Decker and Terry Decker; and her sister Jeannie "Emogene" Boring.
She is survived by: her brothers, Ronnie Adams of Philpot and Rickey Adams (Susie) of Philpot; her grandchildren, Brandon Decker (Sarah), Graham Decker (Bonnie) and Brooklynd Render (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Gatlin, Colyn, Mason, Madolyn, Whitnee, Maddie, Avett Decker, Jackson Render, Carolina and Izzy (Elizabeth); and her aunt Murlene Tarrant of Owensboro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
