With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jamie Sue McKinney Shain of Owensboro, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James McKinney and Virginia Louise Coombs McKinney; and her son Robert Allen Mays. She is survived by: her husband Alton Lee Shain; her daughters, Teresa Partridge (Corey) and Mary Edwards (Andy); her grandchildren, Melissa Hughes, James Mays, Katie Edge (Justin), Joshua Mays (Haley), Zachary Mays (Kayla), Brandon Mays (Katie), Destiney Mays (Joshua), Andrew Edwards (Kelsey), Elijah Edwards (Lexi), Kira Edwards and Santana Munoz; and her pet Sally Sue. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Owensboro Humane Society.
