He is survived by: his wife Maggie Rusher; his daughters, Sheila Best (Gary) of Roswell, Sharon Abney (Maurice) of Owensboro and Sandra Thomas (Dan) of Owensboro; his grandchildren, Kristin Heath (Chris) of Atlanta Georgia, Aaron Thomas (Kristen) of Louisville, Rachel Healy (Kevin) of Lexington and Megan Maddox (McKae) of Owensboro; his great grandchildren, Colin, Caleb Heath of Atlanta, Olivia and Winston Thomas of Louisville; and his siblings, Lendell Rusher of Fordsville, Helen Westerfield of Hartford, Naomi Sorrels (Bob) of Falls and Joanna Jett of Hammond, Indiana..
