James R. Volk Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Volk of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Volk and Anna Fuerst Volk; his siblings, Margaret Jane "Mottsie" Volk, Mary Elizabeth Hagan, Anna Louise "Sis" Castlen, Helen Jean Rhinerson, Judy Garvin, Agnes Myers, Joseph Edward Volk, Jr. and Thomas Richard Volk; and his granddaughter Erica Owen.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Volk; his children, Stacey Owen (Rece), Keith Volk (Sharon), Rodney Volk and Barry Volk (Lisa); his grandchildren, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Nolan, Drew, Meagan, Kim, Kelly, Kris, Kelsey, Sammy and Kasey; and his sister Shirley Volk. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
