He is survived by: his wife Helen Alvey; his children, John Alvey (Tessa), Jennifer Alvey, Sonny Taylor (Alice) and Lauren Taylor (Tara); and his brothers, Doug Alvey and Louie Alvey. He is also survived by 11 loving grandchildren.
