It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Reed of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Isaac Reed and Mary Belle Barnett Reed; his wife Joyce; and his brothers, Bobby and Joseph Eugene Reed.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Reed-Jarboe (Pete) of Owensboro; his siblings, Pat Robbins (Wayne) of Bowling Green, Jerry Reed (Sandra) of Owensboro, Michael Reed (Velma) of Owensboro and Gary Reed (Penny) of Dugger, Indiana; his caregiver Allyson Bowlds; and his close friend Casey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
