James L. Stringer Obituary

Stringer of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Windy, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2024 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, W. D. Stringer (Wick) and Zelda Bivens Stringer; his wife Louise Mattingly Stringer; his stepson Barry Vollman; and his stepgrandson Joseph Vollman.
He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Stringer Lawalin (Don); his stepchildren, Kim Vollman Payne (Ronnie) and Karen Vollman Schauman (George); his siblings, Danny Stringer, Marcella Frantz (late Bill) and Joyce Hulsey (late Randal); his grandchildren, Curtis Gray (Kala) and Krystal Lawalin Kuegel (Bryan); and his stepgrandchildren, Heath Payne (Natalie), Chase Payne, Jenna Schauman Brock (Chris), Adara Schauman, Nick Lawalin (Allison) and Carrie Dutschke. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
