It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edwin Embry Sr. of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Rethal Embry and Mary Burns Embry. He is survived by: his wife Nora Newton Embry; his children, James Edwin Embry Jr. (Mendy), Tiffany Ann Payne (Marvin) and Jeremy Lee Embry; and his siblings, Ira Embry Jr., Wayne Embry, Alice Berry, Patty Clark, Pam Green (Kevin) and Betty Barnett. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
