He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert and Genevieve Short Dickens; and his siblings, Joe Dickens and Mary Dickens. He is survived by: his wife June Dickens; his children, James Dickens of Sorgho, Michael Dickens (Nina) of Grandview, Indiana and Tabatha Dant of Hartford; and his sister Ann Martin. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
