He was predeceased by: his sister Frances Williams; and his son Timmy Dale Stevens. He is survived by: his children, James R. Stevens, David Stevens and Donna Dockery; and his siblings, Shirley Cates of Hartford, William Stevens of Louisville, Harold Stevens of Owensboro, Earl Stevens of Hartford and Darrel Stevens of North Carolina. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
