He was predeceased by: his father Joseph B. Russell; his former wife Rita Ann Clark Russell; and his brothers, Gerald, Thomas and Frank Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Janice Russell; his children, Kim Dever (Eric) of Owensboro, Cliff Russell (Suzanne) of Owensboro and Chris Russell (Sonja) of New Albany, IN; his stepchildren, Jeff Huff (Lisa) of Princeton, IN and Karen Huff of Owensboro; his grandchildren, Kelly, Drew, Sarah, Morgan, Nicholas, Liberty, Joshua and Jacob; his stepgrandchildren, Breanna, Caitlin, Will and Dan; and his siblings, Donald Russell, Mary Jane Clark and Joseph Russell. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
