He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Hummel and Margaret Hummel; and his brother David Hummel. He is survived by: his children, Dirk A. Hummel (Robin) of Owensboro and Holly K. Wahl (Scott) of Owensboro; his grandchildren, Britni Jenkins (Zach) of Owensboro, Kyle Hummel of Owensboro, Samantha Cravens (Hugh) of Owensboro and Skyler Wahl (Trey) of Owensboro; and his brother Kenneth Hummel of Plainfield, IL.. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
