He was predeceased by: his brother Joseph Bowlds; his son-in-law Tony Kraus; his brother-in-law Russell Roberts; and his stepfather Elmer Connor. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Roberts Bowlds; his children, Robin Bartlett, Darrell Bowlds and Christy Kraus; his grandchildren, Taylor Bowlds, Summer Bowlds, Jillian Bartlett, Kayla Nall and Alex Bowlds; his siblings, Herman "Snookie" Bowlds and Elizabeth "Liz" Johnson (Billy); and his brothers-in-law, Sherman Roberts (Delores), Gene Roberts (Anna) and Donnie Roberts (Belinda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
