He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Bowlds and Ruby Varble Bowlds; and his siblings, Joyce Williams and Herman Bowlds, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Bowlds; and his children, Jeff Bowlds (Diane), Jack Bowlds Jr., John Layson (Sharon), Julia Schaber (Joe) and Janie Conkright. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
