She was predeceased by: her father Ernest Bertram; her husband Jerome Simon; her children, Jerry Wayne Simon, Donald Neill Simon and Roger Lynn Simon; and her siblings, Truman Rearden, Mary Roby, Helen Coomes and Herman D. Rearden.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Royal (Terry), Sharon Layson (Johnny), Dan Simon (Robin) and Allen Simon (Peggy); her siblings, Harold Rearden, J. W. Rearden and Patricia Harrelson; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Marie Simon. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
