He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Courtney and Charles Mattingly; his siblings, Thomas Mattingly, Harold Mattingly and Margie Anders; and his great grandchildren, Kylie, Justin and Xavier Harris.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Judy Gasaway; his daughters, Jessica Gasaway and Melissa Allgood (Herbie); his siblings, Dorann Mattingly, Charles "Bobby" Mattingly, Ralph Mattingly and Danny Mattingly; his grandchildren, Amber Mattingly, Kara Allgood, Beth Fuqua, Jayden Fuqua, Mia Sheets and Isabella Sheets; his great grandchildren, Gracelyn, Jordan and Hayden; and his close friend Connie Estes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
