She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McBride and Vera Kate Petrie McBride; her husband William J. Hein; her siblings, Louise Henning, Dena McBride, Virgie Tichenor and Robert McBride; and her daughter-in-law Julie VanDyke Hein.

She is survived by: her children, Frank "Duncan" Hein (Karen) of Owensboro, Joanie Wathen (George) of Owensboro, Vicki Mills (Joe) of Owensboro and Stephen Hein of Owensboro; her brother David McBride of Owensboro; and her grandchildren, Jodi Scott (Adam), Chris Hein (Lyndsey), Katie Edge (Robert), Mary O'Herron (Michael), Will Wathen (Kelly), John Wathen (Jennifer), Ben Wathen (Becca), Christina Wathen, Jessica McKinley (Brady), Brad Mills (Nicole), Joseph Mills (Macey), Michael Mills (Mallory Pacquin), Nick Mills, Sam Hein and Max Hein. She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
