He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry B. Wilson and Kathleen Cline Wilson; his sisters, Wanda Gibbs and Paula Keithley; and his brother-in-law Gary Helm.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wiley Wilson; his daughter Sheena Purcell (Pat); his granddaughters, Candice Wethington-Orndorff (Brett), Hannah Brown and Kirstin Brown; his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Rylee; and his sisters, Norma Wilson, Shirley Evans (Mikel), Carolyn Helm, Gladys Payne, Debbie Keller (Fuzz) and Cathy Banks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
