He was predeceased by: his parents, Reat Farmer and Martha Pryor Farmer; his wife Barbara Jean Farmer; and his siblings, Clifton, Harry Farmer, Margaret Conkright and Lucille Yates.

He is survived by: his son Roger Farmer (Kathy); his grandchildren, Gregory Farmer and Leslie Bouchereau (Mikey); his great grandchild Amelia Bouchereau; and his siblings, Paul Farmer, James Farmer and Mary Young.
