It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Marie Fulkerson Peters of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on May 31, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sylvester and Helen Corrine Sutton Fulkerson; her friend Pearl Thompson; her husband Robert Peters; her sons, John Sidney and Marshall Steven; her sons-in-law, Mark Wayne Henry and Gary Wayne Gabbard; her siblings, Charles William, Douglas, Larry Stevenson, Norma Jean Medley, Lola Beatrice Whitesides, Anna Sue Clements and Mary Kennedy; and her brother-in-law Carl Medley.
She is survived by: her friends, Marian Lee, Daisy Gibson and Onadean Dant; her children, Debbie Reynolds (Marshall), Faye Gabbard, David Peters, Rhonda Henry (D. J. Head) and Donnie Peters (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Jody Russelburg, Wesley Russelburg (Haley), Michael Gabbard (Caryn), Rob Gabbard (Tina), Kyle Crumm, Seth Peters, Luke Henry (Leanza), Austin Henry (Brook), MacKayla Henry, Nathan Peters and Cassidy Peters; her sisters, Joan Byrne (J. L.) and Sherry Holinde (Sam); and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Fulkerson and Don Clements. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
