He was predeceased by: his brothers, Loyd Jolly and Billy "George" Jolly; and his mother-in-law Mary Alice Allen. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Gerald, Jr. Jolly (Becky), Regina Lynn Owsley and David Dewayne Jolly; his grandchildren, Audra Blair (Dustin), Nathaniel Owsley (Leah), Jeremy Jolly (Tina) and Katrina Hatcher; his great grandchildren, Ryan Locher, Ace Blair, Maggie Blair, Oliver Owsley, Samuel Owsley, Elijah Owsley, Jaxon Hatcher and Trenton Hatcher; and his siblings, Velva Roberts and Hazel Fulkerson.
