She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Daugherty and Carrie Daugherty; her husband James F. Mitchell; her son John W. Mitchell; her siblings, Everett, Bill, Ira, Millard, Elizabeth Rhodes and Jean Price; and her sons-in-law, Mark Sales and Bo Painter.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Mitchell (Sandy), Dennis Mitchell, Virginia Painter, Dean Sales, Jean Wilson (Donny), Janice Brown (Charlie) and Anna Gregg (Allen); and her sister Anna Dean Wells. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
