George W. Young Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George W. Young (Owensboro, Kentucky), born in Maceo, Kentucky, who passed away on August 23, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Young and Beulah Nash Young; his parents-in-law, Ernest Gillians, Sr and Myrtle Nation Gillians; and his siblings-in-law, Ernest Gillians, Jr, Joseph Gillians and Martha Young.

He is survived by: his significant other JoAnn Gillians; his grandchildren, Michael, Theresa, Amanda, Christian, Mark and Geoffrey; his siblings, Donald Young of Murfreesboro, TN and Carolyn Simpson (Darrel) of Owensboro; and also Panther Creek Baptist Church. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
