He was predeceased by: his parents, George Levy Lanham Jr. and Mary Wayne Hardy Lanham; and his sister Carolyn Bradley. He is survived by: his wife Agnes Wanell Stallings Lanham; his children, George IV (April), Kathleen Chino (Jeff), Melody Chelstrom (Dan), Nicholas (Brittany), Virginia O'Connell (Brad), Sarah Gaddis (Jason), Emily Lanham (David Edwards), Michael (Courtney Elkins), Rebecca Ratliff (Chad), David (Lindsay), Peter (Leah Teasley), John (Christie Berry), Rachel Taylor (Justin) and Alex (Paige McCarthy); and his brothers, Greg (Ann) and Lawrence (Tonya). He is also survived by 36 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (5404 KY-54, Owensboro, KY 42303).
