He is survived by: his children, Diane Parks, Lilly Fischer, Patty Parks (Curtis), Debbie Dean (Terry), Pamela Kieft, Daniel Nies (Phyllis) and Mark Nies (Shiella); and his brother Bobby Nies (Sharon). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
