With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geneva Louise Jacob of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on November 6, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walker and Mary Emma Ragland; her husband Thomas Jacob; her former husbands, James Worth and Lyman Douglas Black; her son Howell Wayne Black; and her brother J. W. Ragland.
She is survived by: her children, Phil Douglas Black (Doretha), Sheila Fay Grant (Clint), Sandra Howard, Terry Grant Black (Tracey) and Tim R. Black (Karen); and her sister Thelma Hines. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
