He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Daugherty and Lillian Sue Bowlds Daugherty; and his siblings, Ronald (Barb), Darrell, Dorothy, Dennis, Jerry (Dawn), Earl Wayne and Theresa.

He is survived by: his wife Debbie Sturgeon Daugherty; his children, Holly Lynn Pantle, Zachary Dale Daugherty (Wendy) and Jamie Marie King (Michael); his grandchildren, Glen "Patrick" Archey (Caroline), Abigail Nicole Daugherty (Griffin), Grace Lynn Archey, Michael Nolan King, Elizabeth Marie King and Reece Dale Daugherty; his siblings, Nancy (late Jim), Lee "Pixie" (late Jack) and Rita (LaWanna); and his in-laws, Bob, Julia (Byron) and Lisa (Gary). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
