He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Fred, Beulah Mayton, James and Mary Jo Knight; and his stepmother Linda Mayton.

He is survived by: his parents, JoEtta Newton and Rick Mayton; his stepparents, Kathleen of Owensboro and Bob of Tell City, Indiana; his sister Shannon Mayton Poole (Tim Jarboe); his aunts and uncles, Joy Coomes (Pat), Ann Bower, Jimmy Knight (Glenda) and John Mayton; and his cousin Eric Fulkerson. He is also survived by sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
