He was predeceased by: his wife Katie Louise Hart; his parents, Arthur Hart and Edith Hart; and his siblings, Jesse, Charles, Elizabeth, Elnora, Arlene, Gladys and Rosetta.

He is survived by: his brother Arthur Hart; his son Franklin Hart, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Hart; his daughter Rhonda Nelson; his son-in-law James Nelson; his grandchildren, Judy Perfect (Matthew Perfect), Amanda Greer, Kelly Weaver (Guy Weaver), Tiffany Nelson and Jimmy Nelson (Jennah Nelson); his great grandchildren, Ethan Perfect (Jerrica Perfect), Colby Hart (Tiffani Hart), Emma Perfect, Harley Greer, Cole Curry, Colton Weaver, Kyleigh Weaver, Kennedy Weaver, Piper Almand and Caiden Weaver; and his great great grandchild Caleb Hart.
