Francisco Amaya Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2024, at the age of 88, Francisco Amaya of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Corpus Christi, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Martina Coronado Amaya and Eduardo Amaya; his sister Virginia (Roy Lancaster); and his friend Stevie Ray Evans. He is survived by: his friend Steve "Chief" Rogers; his daughters, Tammi Flynn (Sean) of Norwich and Vickie Olsen Michael (Bing) of Charlotte; his siblings, Lenora (Keithel Carter), Edward (Norah Amaya, Jr.), Matilda Amaya, Amelia Amaya, David (Kay Amaya), Jesse (Susie Amaya) and Mary Alice Amaya; and his close friends, Bonnie Fuchs and Lee Moore.

Donations in Frank's honor can be made to the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center, where he was proud to be a 10 gallon donor.
