She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Phalen and Maudie Alice Gray Phalen; her children, Anthony Murphy, Patrick Murphy and Catherine Howard; her stepfather Ralph Pridgen; and her grandsons, Peter and Daniel Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Rosemary Murphy of Reed, Christopher Murphy of Reed, Mark Murphy of Reed, David Murphy of Owensboro, Michael Murphy of Reed and Sharon Petit (Michael) of Irvine, California; and her siblings, Sherlie Boyd, Carol Hamilton (Larry) and Roy Phalen (Ellen). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
