She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Mattingly and Alice Kemper Mattingly; her husband Willie Gene Johnson; her son Steven Wayne Johnson; and her brother Donald Edward Mattingly.
She is survived by: her daughter Gretchen Gilkey (Brad) of Bowling Green; her sister Mary Jane Brey (Donald) of Owensboro; her grandsons, Nick Gilkey (Lindsay) of Louisville and Josh Gilkey of Louisville; and her great grandchildren, Bryant, Andi, Parker, Ivy and Finn Gilkey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
