With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Faye Booth (Owensboro, Kentucky), born in Stanley, Kentucky, who passed away on April 13, 2018 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Margaret Wimsatt Reed and Milton Wimsatt. She is survived by: her husband Richard D. Booth; her children, Chris Booth of Seymour, IN, Nick Booth (Christina) of Alpharetta, GA, Kelly Arney (Casey) of Nashville, TN and Kim Fox (Joe) of Hendersonville, TN; and her sister Jane Mischel (Bill) of Florida. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

“I have always had a special feeling for Faye. It is hard to explain; the twinkle in the eye, the openness, something was there. I was saddened to watch her decline over the last few years. I find comfort in knowing that she rests in full awareness that her race was run well and, in Dickie, children and grandchildren and through her life well-lived she leaves the planet in much better shape than she found it. My wish of peace goes out to her family. Be quiet in your sorrow and listen. She wants to talk to you have to listen.”
