She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Bolton and Bessie Richardson Bolton; her husband Bernard Joseph Mattingly; and her great grandchildren, Gregory Joseph Lindsey and Kristina Rae Thorpe.

She is survived by: her pet Piper; her daughters, Debra Wilson (Jeff) of Rockport, IN, Judy Friedrichs of Owensboro and Connie Trogden (Richard) of Owensboro; and her grandchildren, Tracey Cavender (Scott) of Owensboro, Eric Friedrichs (Alba) of Avondale, AZ, Jason Fischer (Amanda) of Boonville, IN, Justin Fischer of Mt. Vernon, IN, Mark Thorpe (Michelle) of Owensboro, Brian Thorpe of Owensboro and Bruce Thorpe of Owensboro.
