She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Whobrey and Dora Davis Whobrey; and her husband George "Bud" Best. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Austin (Dwight) of Bowling Green, George Michael Best (Janet) of Bowling Green and Kimberly Swift (Steve) of Owensboro; and her grandchildren, Katie Lea Coffey (Doug), Leslie Decker (Brad), Miles Austin (Jessica Kinser), Sam Swift (Sarah), Chris Swift (Lauren), Annie Drury (Jon), Ethan, Mason and Gavin Best. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
