She was predeceased by: her parents, James Noble Emmick and Zenada Dove "Buck" Emmick; her husband William Mark "Curly" Howard; her son Stephen O'Neil Howard; and her siblings, Dr. Michael Hal Emmick, Col. Lelgia F. Emmick, Norman Emmick, Millie Goodman Foster, Louise Reithel and Martha June Emmick.
She is survived by: her daughter Sally Anne Stoermer (Scott); her grandchildren, Kelly Anne Harris, Katie O'Neal Harris and Stephen Cade Howard; her stepgrandchildren, Jason Stoermer, Jordan Stoermer (Haley) and Sabrina Stoermer; her daughter-in-law Melissa Muffett Howard; her great grandchildren, RaeLynn, Darby, Mason, William and Waitman; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Heidi and Brock Stoermer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
