He was predeceased by: his parents, John Daugherty and Nellie Jennings Daugherty; his wife Virginia "Jenn" Daugherty; his stepson Larry Wheatley; and his grandson Christopher Roberts.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elise Daugherty Chandler of Owensboro, Emma Shellene Davis of Owensboro, Yulandia Kalafut (Tim) of Deltona, FL and Thelia Farmer (Charlie); his grandchildren, Laurie Sapp (Ronald), Nikki Sebree-Ligon, Misty Payne (Jon), Richard (Karina), Jacob Roberts (Darcella), Shellena Smith (Josh), Bryan, Kevin Dant, Terra Napier (Chris) and Charles Farmer Jr.; his stepgranddaughters, April Burns, Nikki Duncan and Meschelle Luciano; and his caregivers, Leslie, Kay, Chiania and Rachael. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Owensboro Memorial Gardens (5050 KY-144, Owensboro, KY 42303).
