She was predeceased by: her parents, McRoy Payton and Lenora Payton; her husband George A. Hendrix; and her siblings, Gladys Pierce, Ann Renfrow and Havard Payton.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Hendrix (Billie), Steve Hendrix (Dianne), Pamela Stoops (Chris), Danny Hendrix (Debbie), Ted Hendrix (Joni) and Nancy Jackson (Scott); and her brothers, Doyle Payton (Betty) and Dwight Payton (Geneva). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 31 great- grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
