It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmo Griffith Jr. (Owensboro, Kentucky), who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Griffith, Sr. and Margie Render Griffith; his sister Agnes Griffith; and his granddaughter Jill Hester. He is survived by: his wife Merle Griffith; his sons, Bruce Griffith (Antoinette Tillery) and J. Wayne Griffith (Phoebe James); and his sister Mary Calhoun. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
