She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gerald and Mattie Mae Connell Willett; her daughter Rose Willett Gibbs; and her siblings, James Earl Willett and Rose Anne Willett.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Sutherland; her children, Catherin Sue Reed (David) and Cindy Ann Willett; her siblings, Kenneth Willett (Margaret), Marion Willett (Aleta) and Mary Joines; and her mother-in-law Dorothy Sutherland. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
