She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Martin and Mary Ellen Cummings Long; her husband Michael Taucher; and her siblings, Vetta "Sparky" Lamb and Alfred Long.

She is survived by: her children, Pansy Benson, Tammy Benson, Kent Benson (Barb) and Michael Taucher; her siblings, Hazel Walker and Fred Long; and her grandson Jacob Michael Taucher.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation.
