Elizabeth Hayden Clouse Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Hayden Clouse (Owensboro, Kentucky), who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles L. Hayden and Jessie Lanham Hayden; her husband Wilfred A. Clouse; her son David Clouse; her great grandchild Benjamin Gunter; and her siblings, Joe, Gene, Jerry Hayden, Mary Boehman and Kay Grant.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Woosnam (Ken) of Utica, Stephen (Sherry) of Calhoun, Dennis (Karen), Jeffrey of Owensboro, Timothy (Tina) and Kelly (Stephanie) of Utica; her siblings, Joann Genovese (Frank) of New York, Sue Crabtree of Calhoun, Tony Hayden (Patsy), Bobby (Lorraine) of Owensboro and Tommy (Janice) of Eddyville, KY; and her sisters-in-law, Teresa Clouse of Owensboro, Mamie McDaniel of Owensboro, Cecilia Clouse of Owensboro and Rose Mauzy (Craig) of Owensboro. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home (2020 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church (7232 KY-56, Owensboro, KY 42301). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
