She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elmer and Mary Doyn Carrico Blakeney; her husband Earl Newman; and her siblings, Jim Blakeney, Martha Baumgarten, Bill Blakeney and Julia Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Daugherty (Garland Parker), Jane Peveler (late Dwain), Allen Wells, Ann Shelton (Billy) and Greg Wells (Sue); and her siblings, Kaye Wethington and John Blakeney (Margot). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of charitable donations to Immaculate Respond Capital Campaign at 2516 Christie Place, Owensboro, KY 42301.
