She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Lee Freels and Mary King Freels; her husband George Hoyt Allen; and her siblings, Herbert Freels, Jr., James Edward Freels and Mary Freels Bell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy Wells (Brian) of Owensboro, Cindy Goodrid (Steve) of Owensboro, Lori Webb (Paul) of Ackworth, GA and Renee Ryan (Rick) of Hastings; her grandchildren, Eric Crago (Satoko) of San Diego, CA, John Wells (Sarah) of Owensboro, Helen Sheriff (Landon) of Owensboro, Alex Goodrid of Broomfield, CO and Matthew Goodrid of Denver, CO.; her brother Archie Freels; the father of her children Wendell Thompson; and her stepchildren, Brad Allen (Vanessa), Tracy Thompson (Jamison) and Julie Melton. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
