We bid farewell to Elizabeth Baird of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Lexington, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 17, 2024 at the age of 85. Elizabeth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Wesley P. Garrigus and Helen Robbins Garrigus; and her brother Dr. Robert Garrigus of Murfreesboro, TN.. She is survived by: her children, Jane Crumbaker (Ronnie) of Island, Joyce Ashby (Scott) of Owensboro and David Baird (Leigh Ellen) of Cape Coral, FL; her grandson Andy Crumbaker; her stepgrandsons, Ron Crumbaker (Martha), Lauren Fitzmaurice (Mike), Kristen Lewis (Scott), Wesley Baird (Katharine) and Philip Baird (Justine); her brother James Garrigus (Sheila) of Marietta, GA; and her sister-in-law Janice Garrigus of Murfreesboro, TN. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
