She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferry Hammer and Mary Hammer (Ross); her husband Millard "Bill" Smith; and her siblings, Royce Dicken Hammer, Rex Hammer, Reggie Hammer, Kathleen Hendrick and Modelle Cloyd.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gayle Morgan (James) of Owensboro and Pamela Grantland (Mike) of Sellersburg, IN; her grandchildren, Dr. Justin Morgan (Bridget), Nathan Morgan (Kristen), Aaron Grantland and Kyle Grantland; her great grandchildren, Cora Elizabeth Morgan, Graham Michael Morgan and Mollie Claire Morgan; her sister Helen Payne (Harold); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Lois Hammer, Bea Hammer, Laverne Furlong, Rebecca Bradshaw and Rolland Smith (Jessica). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
