He was predeceased by: his father Jess Gilmore; and his siblings, Thurman, Bobbie, Edward 'Buck', Denis, Francis Gene Gilmore, Ann 'Corky Crabtree, Mary Terry and Jeanene Terry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica of Owensboro, Alina Gilmore of Owensboro and Andrea Williams of Owensboro; and his grandchildren, Delilah, Lillian and Robert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
